Hydrophobic Impregnation for Concrete and Stone

Nanoprotect^® CS is a one component, ultra thin, transparent penetrating Nanotechnology impregnation. The product uses molecular bonding with a mineral substrate to form a hydrophobic surface, yet still permeable to water vapour.

Description

Nanoprotect^® CS molecules are very small and highly penetrating. The relatively slow water evaporation rate allows it to enter even the smallest pores. Its water permeability allows the surface to 'breath' naturally. Nanoprotect^® CS greatly extends the life and colour retention of any water absorptive substrate.

Nanoprotect^® CS is resistant to friction and temperature changes, and cannot be removed by water, cleaning agent or high-pressure (max 60bar) equipment. Treated surfaces are protected against salt efflorescence, show less micro-cracks, and a significant reduction in the formation of moss and algae. It can also be used in bricklaying to stop rising damp.

Nanoprotect^® CS protects and preserves the substrate without altering the natural surface texture, colour or slip resistance. Water runs of easily from the treated surface and dirt particles are washed of by rain or when rinsed with water, creating a easy to clean effect, with self cleaning properties.
